From humble beginnings, we've built an outstanding team that provides our customers with the finest snow & ice management services available. At Ultimate Services, our wealth of knowledge, and commitment to customer service have made us an indispensable resource for some of New England's most discriminating individual and corporate clients for more than three decades.

In 1971, while still in high school, John G. Chiarella, Jr. founded Ultimate Services with just one employee, a push lawn mower, and a handful of clients. From day one, providing outstanding customer service was his top priority. He mowed lawns, washed windows and did odd jobs with pride for area doctors, lawyers, and business professionals. No matter what the task, John was meticulous about his work and he began to build a base of very satisfied clients. Wishing to grow, John knew he could not expand his services without first increasing his knowledge. The University of Connecticut's Horticultural program was his answer.
